When buying an air purifier you want to make sure the filters are available at a decent price. Some don't even use filters, but most do and they can be very expensive. If you buy an off brand or old model the filters might be next to impossible to find. When the same filter is ran over and over it is actually worse then not haveing an air purifier. Another tip would be to buy one that is quiet, The one i had ran loud as heck and made the tv have to be loud and conversation difficult. My final tip would be to watch the energy it uses. energy consumption can be one of the hidden costs.
